This Privacy Policy explains how the shashki.app website handles visitor information. It applies only to the website. The Taiga Checkers Endgame desktop application has its own, longer privacy policy that is shown during installation and bundled with the app.

Who runs this site

shashki.app is operated by Taiga Soft Inc., a Florida corporation. Contact: info@taigasoft.tech.

What we collect

When you visit this site or download a file, our web server records standard request information:

your IP address
the date and time of the request
the URL or file you requested
your browser's user-agent string
the referring URL, if any

We collect this information through normal web-server access logs. We do not use cookies, browser fingerprinting, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics scripts on this site.

Why we collect it

to detect and respond to abuse, attacks, or operational issues;
to understand basic traffic patterns (e.g. which downloads are popular) at an aggregate level;
to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Retention

Access logs are kept for a limited period — typically no longer than 90 days — and are then deleted or rotated out, except where a specific entry must be retained longer for security incident investigation or legal reasons.

Sharing

We do not sell access-log information. We may disclose it only:

in response to a lawful legal process (court order, subpoena);
to protect the rights, property, or safety of Taiga Soft Inc., our users, or others;
to service providers (e.g. our hosting provider) strictly to operate the site, bound by their own confidentiality obligations.

Downloads

Files downloaded from this site (notably the Taiga Checkers Endgame installer) are served directly from the same web server. Each download is recorded in the same access log described above. The installed application itself has separate privacy practices, described in the application's End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Children

This site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
